CTP have a distinct approach to understanding travel behaviour, and promoting travel behaviour change. For more detail please see here.

New CTP Associates appointed
The CTP seeks to increase the breadth of its skills and knowledge base and we are therefore pleased to be able to announce that three eminent practitioners have become our first Associate Members of the Centre. Ben Plowden, Steve Stradling, Alan Tapp.
See the Associates page for more detail.

Evidence-base developing
We continue to develop our evidence base of peer-reviewed studies and this now stands at over 450. Hard copies are held by the Centre as well as being stored in a searchable database.

Launch Event Held
The CTP held their launch event at the University of Bath on the 8th September 2008.
The event was chaired by Professor Tim Jackson, Professor of Sustainable Development from the Centre for Environmental Strategy, University of Surrey, and presentations were given by from several prominent names in transport and behaviour change, including: Professor Steve Stradling,  Professor of Transport and Psychology from Napier University; Professor Bas Verplanken,  Director of Studies (Research) from the University of Bath; Ben Plowden, Director of the Smarter Travel Unit, Transport for London.
