Selected Projects

  • Tewkesbury PTP: Assistant Manager for a wide scale ‘Personalised Travel Planning’ intervention which targeted 5,000 households in Tewkesbury.
  • Travel Plan Cost/Benefit Report: Analysed and wrote a report stating the likely spend required for successful Travel Plan initiatives based on previous spend/car use reduction levels.
  • Play England Literature Review: Researched and wrote chapters for a literature review demonstrating the benefits and effects of playing for children in urban areas

Greg Thomas

Greg Thomas is a psychology graduate who joined JMP in September 2007. His dissertation evaluated the effectiveness of best-practice research to reduce car-use, and continues to undertake research and analysis with a strong focus on the psychological effect of transport programs.

His work focuses on the application of psychological research to transportation, with an emphasis on study design and evaluation. Greg has previous experience in behaviour change programs, research, analysis and promotional material for the CTP, including the writing of the monthly newsletter.
